Overview
Payment gateway onboarding activates a merchant account with a gateway such as Cashfree, so you can accept payments for your BillHive invoices and subscriptions. BillHive is a registered partner of the gateway. It creates and links the merchant account for you, and tracks it until the account is live.
Payment gateway onboarding is being rolled out. Some screens may not be available on your account yet.
How It Works
- You enable a gateway in Settings > Payment Gateways. A BillHive administrator can also enable it for you.
- You confirm your business profile. These are basic business details that BillHive reuses for every gateway you add.
- BillHive creates your merchant account with the gateway and links it to your BillHive account.
- You verify your email using the message the gateway sends to your registered address.
- You complete KYC on the gateway’s secure page. You get there from the onboarding email or the Continue onboarding button.
- The gateway reviews your KYC. BillHive updates your status automatically and emails you when the account is active, or when the gateway needs something from you.

Before You Start
Have the following ready:
