Products

A Product represents an item or service your company sells. In BillHive, products are subscription-based services that customers subscribe to over time.

Each product can have multiple rate plans, and each rate plan can have multiple rate plan prices (one per billing strategy + currency combination).

Managing Products

Create a Product

1. Navigate to Rate Plan Builder > Catalogue in the left sidebar.
2. Click Add New Product in the top right corner.
3. Fill in:
   • Product Name (required) — The name of your product.
   • Description (optional) — A brief description of the product.
4. Optionally upload a Product Logo by clicking the upload area.
5. Click Save.

Edit a Product

1. Navigate to the product catalog and click on the product to open the product details page.
2. Click the Edit button in the product header card.
3. An inline form expands with editable fields: Product Name and Description.
4. Make changes and click Update, or click Cancel to discard.

Upload / Change Logo

• Click the product logo thumbnail or go to Actions > Change Logo.
• Upload an image in the modal that appears.

Activate / Deactivate a Product

• Use the Actions dropdown on the product header.
• Select Deactivate (for active products) or Activate (for inactive products).
• Deactivated products cannot be added to new subscriptions.

Delete a Product

• Go to Actions > Delete Product.
• Confirm the deletion when prompted.
• Products linked to active subscriptions cannot be deleted.
