Addon Pricing

An Addon Price defines the actual monetary amount, pricing model, and billing frequency for an addon. Each addon can have multiple prices — one for each combination of currency and billing frequency.

Pricing Dimension

Unlike rate plan prices (which use a full billing strategy with term length), addon prices are dimensioned by currency + billing frequency only:

EntityPricing DimensionExample
Rate Plan PriceCurrency + billing strategy (frequency × term)“$29/month, 12-month commitment”
Addon PriceCurrency + billing frequency“$49/month” or “₹999/month”
Charge PriceCurrency only“$199 USD”

When a billing strategy like “Annually” (Monthly × 12) is selected on the product page, the addon resolves to the strategy’s underlying billing frequency (Monthly).

Creating an Addon Price

  1. On the product details page, click Set Price on an addon card (if no price exists), or click the dollar icon (Add Pricing) button.
  2. Fill in the form across four sections:

How Addon Pricing Displays on the Product Page

Addon prices respond to the currency and billing strategy selectors at the top of the product details page:

  • Currency toggle (e.g., USD → INR) — Shows the addon price for the selected currency.
  • Strategy toggle (e.g., Monthly → Annually) — Shows the addon price matching the strategy’s base billing frequency. For example, selecting “Annually” (Monthly × 12) displays the Monthly addon price.

If no price exists for the current currency/frequency, a Set Price button appears on the addon card.
