| Property | Detail |
|---|---|
| Chart Type | Line chart with dashed target line |
| X-Axis | Month |
| Y-Axis | Success rate (%), range 90–100% |
| Series | Actual success rate (solid green), Target 95% (dashed yellow) |
| Annotation | Horizontal line at 95% target |
| Purpose | Track payment reliability over time. Dips below the target may indicate gateway issues, card expiry waves, or fraud rule changes. |
| Who uses it | Finance teams monitoring collection reliability; operations teams evaluating payment infrastructure |

| Purpose | Compare reliability across payment methods (Credit Card, ACH, UPI, Wire, etc.). Methods with significantly lower success rates may need configuration tuning or should be deprioritized. |
| Who uses it | Operations teams optimizing payment method offerings; finance teams negotiating gateway terms |
Interpreting the Data
- Success rate below 95% — Investigate top failure reasons and consider dunning improvements
- “Insufficient Funds” is #1 reason — Consider retry timing optimization (e.g., retry on paydays)
- One gateway underperforming — Compare with the Dunning & Recovery gateway breakdown
- Seasonal dips — Correlate with billing cycles; annual renewal waves may temporarily lower rates
