Gateway OnboardingAdd Another Gateway

Add Another Gateway

You can run more than one payment gateway, for example Cashfree and Razorpay. This gives you a backup if one gateway is down, or access to payment methods that only one gateway supports.

When you add a second gateway, your business profile is reused. You only review it. The only details you enter again are the sensitive KYC details that each gateway must verify itself.

Payment gateway onboarding is being rolled out. Razorpay onboarding will follow Cashfree.

What You Re-enter and What You Don’t

Why Do I Have to Enter KYC Details Again?

BillHive never stores your PAN, bank account number, or documents, so it can’t copy them to another gateway. Each gateway is also separately responsible, by regulation, for verifying the businesses it works with. They don’t share KYC results with each other.

Steps (Razorpay)

Enable Razorpay

Go to Settings > Payment Gateways, find Razorpay, and click Enable.

Review your business profile

The profile you confirmed for your first gateway is shown prefilled. Check it and click Save and continue.

Complete Razorpay KYC

Click Continue onboarding. Enter your PAN, settlement bank details, and documents, and accept Razorpay’s terms.

Depending on how Razorpay is set up for your region, you complete this step either on Razorpay’s secure page or in a BillHive form. If it’s a BillHive form, the details are passed straight to Razorpay and are not saved in BillHive.

Wait for approval

Razorpay reviews the account. BillHive tracks the status and emails you, exactly as for Cashfree. See Onboarding Status & Emails.
